D-Link DNS-320, DNS-325, and DNS-345 NAS devices ship with admin as the username and an empty (blank) password for the web administration interface. The Quick Installation Guide instructs users to log in with admin and leave the password field blank on first access. This default is also factory-restored on hard reset. These popular consumer NAS units have been targeted by the Cr1ptT0r ransomware (2019) and other threats that exploited unchanged default credentials or known vulnerabilities.
