Security is DISABLED by default on all nodes at initial installation — no credentials required until explicitly enabled via the Security Configuration application. Separately, some 7.x I/O Driver builds automatically created a hidden Windows admin account 'FixIOUser' with a fixed known password (GE advisory GEIP13-01, 2013). Upgrade affected drivers and enable iFIX security post-install.
