Mercusys is TP-Link's budget wireless networking brand, offering Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 routers under the MR and MW product lines. Like their TP-Link parent-brand siblings, Mercusys routers default to 192.168.1.1 with admin/admin credentials for the web management interface. The router's wireless SSID is 'Mercusys_XXXX' by default. Mercusys routers are widely deployed in South/Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Default credentials should be changed during initial setup via the Quick Setup wizard.
