Netgear ProSafe Smart Managed Plus and Web Managed switches (GS308T, GS316T, GS724T, GS748T, GS310TP, and similar) use admin / password as the default web management credentials. The default management IP for Smart Managed Plus switches is 192.168.0.239. Fully Managed ProSafe switches (M4100, M4300 series) use admin with a blank password and force a new password on first login. Credentials are case-sensitive. Distinct from Netgear consumer and ReadyNAS product lines which use different defaults.
