Default username and password for the Apache Software Foundation Apache Cassandra: cassandra / cassandra. Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.
When PasswordAuthenticator is enabled in Cassandra, the built-in superuser uses these defaults. Authentication is disabled by default (AllowAllAuthenticator). The cassandra superuser cannot be deleted but should be replaced.
