Barracuda Email Security Gateway appliances with serial number ≤ 1311431 ship with admin/admin as the factory default. Appliances with higher serial numbers use the numeric portion of the serial number as the initial password. Beginning with firmware version 9.2, the admin is required to change the default password on first login. The web interface is accessible on port 8000 (HTTP). Applies to physical appliances (300/400/600/800/900 series) and virtual editions (Vx).
