Beronet berofix VoIP gateways (BF4S0, BF2S0E1, BF8S0, and related analog/ISDN-to-SIP bridge models) ship with admin / admin at the static default IP 10.0.0.2 (netmask 255.0.0.0). On firmware 3.0 and later DHCP is enabled by default; the static 10.0.0.2 fallback applies when DHCP fails or on older firmware. Beronet's bfdetect discovery tool can locate devices regardless of IP assignment. Berofix gateways are widely used to bridge legacy ISDN or PSTN circuits to SIP-based PBX systems (3CX, Asterisk, FusionPBX, etc.).
