Default username and password for the Cohesity DataProtect / DataPlatform On-Premises Cluster (C5000 Series): admin / admin. Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.

Applies to on-premises hardware appliance clusters (DataPlatform). The cloud-managed DataProtect SaaS offering (Helios-based) uses activation-set credentials and is distinct. REST API also accepts admin/admin for initial POST /public/accessTokens to obtain a session token. Setup guide requires changing admin password post-deployment.
