Default username and password for the Foreman Project Foreman Provisioning & Lifecycle Management: admin / changeme. Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.
The foreman-installer creates an 'admin' account with the password 'changeme' as the documented factory default. The Foreman quickstart guide explicitly instructs administrators to change this password on first login. Newer installer versions (Foreman 3.x and Katello-based deployments) may generate a random password stored in /etc/foreman-installer/scenarios.d/katello-answers.yaml. Applies to Foreman 1.x through 3.x for deterministic installs.
