Default username and password for the HSQLDB Project HyperSQL Database (HSQLDB): SA / (blank). Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.

HSQLDB ships with a single default user 'SA' (System Administrator) with a blank password and DBA privileges. Any connection attempt using SA with an empty password succeeds on a freshly installed database. All versions through 2.x retain this default unless explicitly changed during or after setup.
