Moxa EDS series industrial managed Ethernet switches ship with the factory-default IP 192.168.127.253 (subnet 255.255.255.0). Older EDS models (EDS-405A, EDS-408A, EDS-510A) used admin with a blank password. Current firmware (v3.9+) uses admin / moxa. The EDS series are widely deployed in industrial automation, power generation, and process control networks. CLI access is also available via Telnet and serial console (same default credentials). Distinct from the Moxa AWK, ioLogik, and cellular product lines which have their own credential defaults.
