Default username and password for the Nutanix IPMI / BMC (Pre-G8 Series Nodes): ADMIN / ADMIN. Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.

Applies to Nutanix NX-series hardware (NX-1000, NX-3000, NX-6000, NX-8000 families) manufactured before the G8 generation. G8+ nodes use a unique per-node password printed on the chassis label. Change default password using Nutanix Foundation or IPMI web UI.
