User Authentication is disabled by default on Omron NJ (NJ101, NJ301, NJ501) and NX (NX1P2, NX102, NX502, NX702) controllers running firmware earlier than v1.49. Any host on the network can connect to port TCP 44818 (EtherNet/IP) via Sysmac Studio without credentials, enabling read/write of PLC programs, data, and control outputs.
