The OpenEVSE ESP32 Wi-Fi module creates a setup hotspot named 'OpenEVSE_XXXXXX' with WPA2 password 'openevse' during initial configuration. Once connected, the web interface at 192.168.4.1 allows configuration without additional authentication. The hotspot remains accessible if the module loses connection to the configured SSID.
