Oracle GlassFish Server 4.x ships with an admin account with an empty (blank) password for connections from localhost (admin port 4848). Remote administration is disabled by default; enabling it requires setting a non-empty admin password via the change-admin-password subcommand. The admin console accepts a blank password only from 127.0.0.1.
