Phoenix Contact FL SWITCH 5000 series (FL SWITCH 5005, 5006E, 5008E, 5016E and similar) are industrial DIN-rail managed Ethernet switches widely used in factory automation and process control. The factory default management IP is 192.168.1.17 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0. The web-based management interface (WBM) uses 'admin' with a blank password by default. SNMP read community is 'public' and write community is 'private' by default. Phoenix Contact strongly recommends changing all default credentials before connecting the switch to a production network.
