Rittal CMC III Processing Unit (model 7030.000 / 7030.010 Compact) monitors data-centre environment parameters including temperature, humidity, airflow, and physical access. Ships with admin/admin at factory-default IP 192.168.0.190. The earlier CMC-TC Processing Unit II (7320.100) shares identical defaults. If DHCP is available on first boot the device acquires a DHCP address; 192.168.0.190 is the static fallback when no DHCP server is present. Rittal documentation recommends changing credentials immediately after initial setup and warns the default IP must not remain in production.
