The S7-1200 and S7-1500 CPUs include an optional embedded HTTP/HTTPS web server configurable in TIA Portal. When the web server is enabled, the default admin account has a blank password. This is the same default across all S7-1200 and S7-1500 hardware variants. Communication with S7-1200/1500 PLCs over PROFINET/S7 protocol also requires no password on firmware prior to V4.
