Ubiquiti UniFi Protect NVR appliances (UNVR, UNVR Pro, UDR) ship with the standard Ubiquiti factory SSH credentials (ubnt / ubnt) prior to adoption by a UniFi Protect controller. After adoption, the controller replaces device credentials. These NVRs manage IP camera footage for UniFi Protect deployments; SSH access with factory credentials allows full system control on unadopted devices.
