Gigabyte Technology Server Management Console (BMC / IPMI) — Default Password

Default username and password for the Gigabyte Technology Server Management Console (BMC / IPMI): admin / password. Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.

Default credentials apply to Gigabyte server motherboards with ASPEED AST-series BMC manufactured before March 2020. From March 2020 onward, the admin password is a unique 11-character string derived from the board serial number (printed on the motherboard label).
