Zyxel NAS326 (2-bay) and NAS542 (4-bay) consumer/SOHO NAS appliances ship with admin/1234 as the factory default. Also applies to NAS540 and NAS520 series. The NAS OS web management interface is accessible over HTTP/HTTPS. Multiple CVEs (CVE-2022-34747, CVE-2023-35138) have targeted Zyxel NAS default and weak credentials. Password change is prompted on first login but is not enforced before access is granted.
