Brocade VDX series LAN fabric switches (VDX 6720, VDX 6730, VDX 8770) — acquired by Extreme Networks in 2017 — ship with admin/password as the factory default. The fallback static management IP is 10.10.10.10/24. Distinct from Brocade SAN switches running Fabric OS (FOS). VDX switches run Network OS (NOS). SSH and the REST API both accept admin/password on fresh installs.
