Vertiv Avocent ACS Advanced Console Server (ACS6000, ACS800, ACS8000) — Default Password
Default username and password for the Vertiv Avocent ACS Advanced Console Server (ACS6000, ACS800, ACS8000): admin / avocent. Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.
Legacy password scheme: admin/avocent (web/SSH) and root/linux (root shell). From firmware v2.8.0 onward (ACS8000), admin password must be set on first login — no shared default. ACS6000 and older ACS800 units retain the legacy defaults.
