By default all Hadoop HTTP web-consoles (NameNode on 9870, ResourceManager on 8088, NodeManager on 8042, DataNode on 9864) allow access without any form of authentication. Authentication must be explicitly enabled via Kerberos SPNEGO or a custom servlet filter.
