Default username and password for the Oracle Corporation Oracle Database (pre-11g): sys / change_on_install. Learn how to log in and how to change the default credentials.
Oracle 8i, 9i, and 10g installs create SYS with password 'change_on_install' and SYSTEM with 'manager' by default. Oracle 11g+ requires passwords to be set during Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA) installation.
