NSX-T 2.x NSX Manager OVA shipped with root account defaulting to 'vmware'. In NSX-T 3.x, root SSH is disabled by default and the admin password must be specified at OVF deployment time — no static default exists. Distinct from NSX for vSphere (NSX-v 6.x) which used admin/default. This credential applies only to the NSX-T 2.x appliance root SSH account.
