VMware SD-WAN Orchestrator (originally VeloCloud, acquired by VMware in 2017, now under Broadcom) is the centralized management and policy platform for SD-WAN deployments. On-premises virtual appliance deployments default to username admin and password admin for both the web management console and the SSH shell admin account. In Orchestrator versions 8.6.0 and later, web console and SSH credentials are managed separately. Default credentials must be changed before production use. The Orchestrator is typically internet-accessible, making default credential exposure especially high-risk.
